Alison Sutcliffe is a freelance professional theatre director based in London. From 2005 to 2011 she was founder and Artistic Director of the Bridge House Theatre Company, Warwick. She has directed for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and also in the West End and on Broadway, as well as in repertory and for major tours.
She co-founded and ran the Cotswold Theatre Group in the 1990s. She has taught in several major drama schools and university drama departments. She is a produced writer for Radio 4, and has done adaptations of Shakespeare, Ibsen and Chekhov.
